La Jaula is a play that talks about migrant children detained at the United States border.

It was written during a residence in Colombia (Teatro Esquina Latina and Iberescena), where the mentor was Santiago Loza.

Teatro en vuelo

Teatro en vuelo is an international theater group that was formed at the end of 2022 in Madrid, after a creation laboratory taught by Amaranta at Residui Teatro and where the students asked her to continue.

We are currently making a laboratory around the play MAPA, at the Elipa Cultural Center and seeking support for the production of the play.

Direction and dramaturgy: Amaranta Osorio (Mexico, Colombia, Spain), co-direction: Yahaira Cofiño (Spain), Cast: Alejandra Morón (Spain), Artemisa Semedo (Cape Verde), Beski Salem (Syria), Leticia Lamas (Uruguay) and Luciana Plenge (Peru).

Writing residency and workshop in Catalonia

 

Thanks to the Llul Institute, Amaranta will be in a writing residency in Faberllul Olot from January 16 to 23, 2023.

On January 21 she will give the Workshop “Writing with what there is” at the Galliner in Girona.
